I've been on a quest for the past year, buying and then giving away various juicers and juicing attachments. I was about to give up and resign myself to keep purchasing some very good organic orange juice at our local store, but at $8.00 for a half-gallon, well, egads! So then I spotted this beauty. Wow, it shines, it has substance, it can be lifted up away from the corded base (and even stored in the fridge if you care to), and it's very simple to use and easy to clean. What more could you want?
The description about the appliance is accurate -- it has a base with cord that can stay put, you do your juicing, and you can then use the container to serve and pour, or put the little hard plastic cover on top to then store it in your refrigerator.
